It is the same design as the Vortex 2 but is beefed up a bit with zippable mesh vents on the two side doors and comes with a Fly for winter use as well as the summer fly. While standing i was able to see out the mesh vent above the door which means someone could see me too but this may be.
It gets somewhat cramped when you include your packs in the tent however. It got me through a nasty storm while backpacking at Canaveral Natl Seashore in FL. Highly recommended especially if you have kids.
The Yellowstone 2 packs down to about 9 x 25 less without the poles which we carry rolled in our pads and strapped to the back of our packs. The fly has four points to stake out but it can be used without. I trusted the Kelty name for quality and was not disappointed.
The Yellowstone 6 claims to be a 6 person camping tent but only comfortably fits 4. Each clip should go around BOTH poles the openings of the clips pointing in opposite directions. Weight of the tent is excellent and the space in the 2.
Pretty easy to put up with help definitely a two person set up. It is high enough to stand in and is very robust. Winds of 50mph with higher gusts horizontally-driven pouring rain and the tent held its own.

While it was larger than I needed I dont backpack any more so it didnt matter. The poles are perfect you can easily set it up and pack it up. And the Kelty Yellowstone 2 is incredibly tight for two people.
